If voting changed anything, it would be illegal!

It was national election time here in Spain...and it´s "territories", such as the Canary Islands. Mrs. Ear hates when i call this ´Spain´. I don´t get the electoral system here....

a) Politicians/parties that came third in last years regional election, did a deal with other parties, and they end up running things....read Coalition Canarias.

b) Politicians, like Ángel Llanos who spent a lot of energy castigating the under-investigation-for- corruption mayor Miguel Zerolo, only to turn around and accept the deputy mayorship...pfft! Check his before and after stance below.


I spent last Thursday afternoon in the emergency ward of the hospital, got pneumonia, anyway, I met patients that had to spend the night in emergency, but sleeping in a chair! Politicians are well-versed in the photo-op, Ricardo Melchior is a master, strange (not) he never turned up at the hospital with cameras in tow. If he had they would have been admitted as only a doctor would have been able to remove the sharp instrument that would have been impaled in his forehead!....but the thing is, plenty people complain ´bout the cunts, but they go and vote for them again. There are two hospitals in Tenerife, both in the same region, that serve a population of about a million people. People in the north or south of the island have to travel for miles to get to the hospital. Why it is never an electoral issue is completely beyond me. The people should force real issues onto the agenda, and stick with it until they get answers and actions.
